Help Us Save Liko

Our 2-year-old puppy is fighting for her life. Every contribution, every share, every prayer counts.

๐ŸŽฏ Goal: โ‚น60,000
โฐ Liko is surviving only through regular intensive fluid therapy. Time is critical.

She Fought to Survive โ€” Now She Needs Us to Fight for Her

Liko came into our lives as a tiny, scrappy indie pup with the biggest heart. At just 2 years old, she has already given us more love, loyalty, and joy than we could have imagined. She deserves every chance at a long, happy life.

A few days ago, something went terribly wrong. Liko stopped eating. She stopped drinking. She became weak, feverish, and completely unlike herself. When we rushed her to the vet, what we found was heartbreaking โ€” she is experiencing severe GI tract bleeding, running a persistent fever, and her body is so exhausted she cannot keep anything down.

"She looked up at us with those tired eyes โ€” still trusting, still wanting to be okay. We cannot let her down."

The vet has prescribed an urgent, intensive course of treatment: fluid therapy twice daily for 4 days to keep her hydrated and alive, combined with antibiotics to fight infection, anti-nausea medication, and medication to stop the internal bleeding. Once she stabilises, she will need a strict gastrointestinal diet for at least a month to heal properly.

This is not a small ask โ€” we know that. But Liko's life depends on the kindness of people who believe that every dog deserves to be saved.

Liko's Current Symptoms

She is dealing with multiple serious conditions simultaneously, requiring round-the-clock veterinary care.

๐ŸฉธGastrointestinal tract bleeding
๐ŸŒก๏ธPersistent high fever
๐Ÿ˜”Extreme lethargy & weakness
๐ŸšซNo food or water for 48+ hours

The vet's prescribed protocol includes IV fluid therapy (twice daily ร— 4 days), broad-spectrum antibiotics, anti-nausea medication, haemostatic agents to stop the bleeding, followed by a minimum of one month on prescription gastrointestinal food to allow her gut to heal fully. Comprehensive blood work including LFT, KFT, CBC, and a PCR GI Panel is needed to understand the root cause and ensure the right treatment.

Verified by her vet

Full transparency matters. Below are the official prescription and payment records from Liko's attending veterinarian, along with photographs documenting her condition. We want donors to know exactly where their contribution is going.
